About Civoria

Civoria is one persistent shared civilization beginning from a primitive state. The browser is only a window into it, while the canonical world continues on the server.

• No inherited civilization. The first people have no homes, professions, farms, market, controlled fire, or recipes.
• No invisible map. Each person acts from what they can currently sense, personally remember, or learn from someone else.
• Ideas are physical prototypes. Materials, forms, connections, forces and repeated tests create capabilities—there is no required technology tree.
• Knowledge is personal. A repeatable result belongs only to people who have proved it, learned it, or preserved it.
• A living environment. Deterministic terrain, regional climate, weather, soil, real plant forms, animal populations, food spoilage, toxins, waste and water contamination change survival.
• Human bodies, unknown anatomy. Metabolism, circadian sleep, wounds, blood, oxygen, infection, reproduction, dependency and aging behave physically, while Civorians begin with sensations rather than medical knowledge.
• Communication must grow. Gesture, vocal skill, shared signs, teaching and institutions develop through repeated contact.
• Cultivation must be discovered. Plant pieces can be gathered and placed in soil, but only suitable temperature, moisture, depth and viability allow growth. The people are not told this in advance.
